I've toured manufacturing plants across the state helping to tell their stories of success through increased productivity and efficiency based on projects facilitated by NC State University's engineering extension.

E3 - Economy, Energy and Environment is a sustainable manufacturing initiative that focuses on the "triple bottom line" of financial profitability and growth; environmental integrity and commitment; and social equity and workforce development.

I have been fortunate to develop the communication plan for this initiative. E3 has been recognized by the White House Rural Council, Governor Beverly Perdue and was a recipient of the National Association of Development Organizations Innovation Award in 2011.

For NC State University, I’ve developed content for the web and print. This includes press releases, event advisories, narrative articles and more. I’ve conducted interviews for video production and helped edit raw footage dependent on intended audience and purpose.

The ‘Successes’ tab leads to stories I’ve written for Acme McCrary, Banner Pharmacaps, US Coast Guard (4/2009), Motion Sensors and Cape Fear Valley Health System.

E3: North Carolina

As communication lead for the E3: North Carolina initiative, I developed and implemented a communication plan aligned with the strategic goals of the program, all driven by specific stakeholder perspective. This includes but is not limited to content development for web and all physical collateral, eNewsletter design and distribution (see link below) as well as testimonial video assistance (http://e3.ies.ncsu.edu/e3_videos.cfm).
